Qualifications

• Associates degree required; coding certification (AAPC/AHIMA) preferred.
• CCS, CCS-P, or CDEO credentials preferred; CEUs to maintain credentials.
• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience; 2 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage coding workflows to reduce backlogs and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead a team, conduct performance reviews and coaching.
• Develop executive level reporting on a quarterly basis.
• Ensure accurate code assignment using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS.
• Ensure privacy and security compliance for PHI and internal policies.
