Qualifications

• CPC certified.
• CPMA preferred.
• 5-7 years of coding experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coding staff, workflows, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate staff schedules and evaluate coder performance.
• Monitor coding work queues and allocate resources to ensure timely completion.
• Improve workflows and document procedures; maintain coding guidelines.
• Serve as liaison for Epic and other applications; address system issues.
• Develop and deliver coding education and newsletters.
• Assist with in-services for physicians and staff on documentation and coding standards.
• Conduct research, run reports, and provide coding support as needed.
