Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10CM, ICD-10PCS, CPT, HCPCS.
• 3-5 years of coding experience in an acute care hospital.
• Previous coding management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and coach the coding team.
• Assist with the Coding Quality Review Program.
• Provide continuing education to coding staff and clinical departments.
• Participate in job interviewing and selection of new employees.
• Collaborate with other departments in the Revenue Cycle.
