Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Three years of hands-on code enforcement experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Code Enforcement Officers, including performance management and onboarding.
• Log complaints and assign investigations.
• Prepare case packets for court and provide evidentiary testimony.
• Issue 'Stop Work' orders and citations for noncompliance with codes.
• Inspect residential, industrial and commercial sites for code compliance.
• Maintain daily inspection logs and prepare reports.
