This position is responsible for enforcing provisions of the Renton Municipal Code and resolving violations related to nuisance properties, building and zoning standards, vegetation, temporary structures, and public safety concerns. Inspectors conduct field investigations, document violations, and communicate required corrective actions with professionalism and clarity. The role requires a balance of fieldwork and office-based case management, including report writing, documentation, and coordination with partner departments. This position may be eligible for a telework arrangement, up to 2 days remote, based on the operational needs of the City and specific Department.
