Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Coax Splicer to join our field crew and contribute to outdoor coaxial infrastructure projects. You will splice, test, and troubleshoot cables, while supporting upgrades to plant and new construction at various sites.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, comfort with ladders or bucket trucks, and a dedication to safety and quality. A valid driver's license is required, with potential for DOT medical card eligibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable.
• Upgrade existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction.
• Read CATV design and prints to guide installation work.
• Work outdoors at utility construction sites and maintain safety standards.
