Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Coax Splicer to join a safety-minded team of construction professionals. You''ll splice, sweep, troubleshoot, and upgrade aerial and underground coaxial cable while supporting node expansions.

Candidates need 1–3 years of splicing experience, ability to climb ladders or operate bucket trucks, a valid driver''s license, and willingness to work varied shifts with overtime. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of splicing and sweeping experience.
• Comfortable climbing ladders or operating a bucket truck.
• Ability to read CATV design and prints.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable.
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity.
• Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers).
• Read the CATV telecommunications design and prints.
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites.
