Mativ is seeking a Coating Operator for our New Berlin, WI facility. This is a day shift (6am-6pm) with an every other weekend rotation. You will operate the coating machine and ensure quality of the products produced.

Responsibilities include material checks, machine setup, chemical mixing, paperwork accuracy, safety, and basic maintenance within the Coating Production area. Team collaboration and adherence to ISO guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends basic documents.
• Writes and interprets shift correspondences/memorandums.
• Performs calculations for measurements and material usage.
• Interprets charts and data for process decisions.
• Maintains confidentiality in handling production information.
• Works well in a team and communicates clearly.

Responsabilités

• Check quality and quantity of raw materials against work orders.
• Set up and operate the coating machine per OSS sheet with Senior Coater.
• Mix chemicals as per ISO instructions.
• Record materials used and validate coatings and base stock.
• Perform minor maintenance on coating machines.
• Maintain clean room conditions and housekeeping in Coating Production area.
• Stage stock materials and monitor inventories.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
