Job summary

Pilkington North America seeks a Manufacturing Leader at the Laurinburg Plant to coach coating supervisors, drive daily performance, and build high-performing shift teams.

You will lead staffing, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, maintain SOPs, and report KPIs to management. BS in Engineering and strong communication required; Six Sigma/ RCA experience preferred. On-site role in Laurinburg, NC with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate groups in an employee involvement environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent writing skills for reports, policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop coating supervisors daily and support shift leadership.
• Oversee staffing, training, and development of supervisors.
• Lead operator development initiatives and promote an operator-driven manufacturing process.
• Develop and administer operator assessments and competency evaluations.
• Manage hourly employee timecards and supervisor coverage schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, and SOP compliance across coatings.
