Job summary

Pregis in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead coating and material manufacturing from concept to commercialization of innovative coating solutions. You will ensure cost-effective, high-quality products that meet customer specifications and drive the company's growth.

The role collaborates with NPD, operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and sales to implement continuous improvement, enhance safety, and share best practices across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical) or 15+ years of Industrial Engineering in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience or related engineering discipline.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects.
• Experience with coatings, formulation, application and performance testing preferred.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee coating and material manufacturing through commercialization of innovative coating solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement on coating assets and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including NPD, operations, quality and maintenance.
• Implement best practices and share across business units.
• Manage safety initiatives and risk assessments.
