Job summary

PILKINGTON LAURINBURG plant is seeking a supervisor coach to guide coating supervisors and shift teams toward high-performing, proactive operations. You will lead training, staffing, and daily coaching to ensure effective shift leadership and adherence to quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes process documentation, RCA/CAPA, 5S practices, and cross-functional communication to sustain improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing skills for reports, presentations, policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Six Sigma / Advanced problem-solving skills are desirable.
• Reliability engineering experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop coating supervisors through daily coaching and performance check-ins.
• Oversee supervisor staffing, training, and development to ensure effective shift leadership.
• Lead operator development initiatives and competency evaluations.
• Develop and administer operator assessments and maintain Process of Record standards.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement across coating operations.
