Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Director of Coastal Engineering and Waterfronts to lead the practice, set strategy, and grow markets across coastal and marine infrastructure. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, shape technical standards, and act as a senior leader within the firm.

Based in the United States with regional flexibility, the role combines executive oversight, client development, and delivery excellence, overseeing permits, design reviews, and complex waterfront projects

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Coastal, Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering.
• 15+ years of waterfront, coastal, or marine engineering with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; additional credentials (e.g., D.PE, PMP, CFM) are desired.
• Proven success leading practice groups, business units, or major market sectors.
• Strong portfolio of waterfront, marina, or coastal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Waterfronts Practice and align with firmwide goals.
• Lead budgeting, staffing plans, revenue forecasting, and financial performance oversight.
• Provide senior technical oversight for waterfront, marina, and coastal projects and permits.
• Drive client relationships, business development, and major pursuits in new markets.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams across engineering and project delivery.
