Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Waterfront Business Leader to build our waterfront and coastal engineering practice in New England. The role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, expanding client relationships, and driving innovative shoreline and coastal projects.

The successful candidate will manage complex programs, foster business development, and contribute to strategic growth. Remote options may be considered for the right candidate, with proximity to Boston, Acton, or Hamilton,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, structural, or geotechnical engineering with coastal or water resources emphasis (required).
• Advanced degree in a related field (desirable).
• Professional registration (e.g. P.E., P.G., WEDG, CFM) desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grow waterfront and coastal engineering services through client relationships and business development.
• Lead or support business development initiatives, proposals, and strategic planning.
• Understand regulatory drivers and funding sources affecting the market.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in coastal modeling, resiliency, and shoreline projects.
• Ensure client satisfaction and project profitability; provide technical leadership.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and other work products.
• Plan and coordinate coastal engineering work phases for marine projects.
• Meet with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
