Job summary

Seabrook Island Club is seeking a Server Assistant to support smooth table service in our oceanfront setting. You will set up stations, assist with expediting dishes, and help keep dining rooms clean and stocked while delivering friendly guest service.

Applicants should be able to work weekends/holidays and communicate effectively with guests and team members. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to sanitation standards in a busy, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of restaurant service or related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Set up work areas and perform assigned side work duties outlined in the training manual and any other additional work as told by the manager on duty.
• Assist in expediting food from the kitchen ensuring that each dish is correct with proper garnishes and sauces.
• Ensuring that each dish is correctly placed at the right table and seat number.
• Help in performing table maintenance during the meals (i.e. replenishing waters, clearing plates, clearing trash on tables).
• Maintains all work areas during the shift making sure they stay stocked and ready for the next team member.
• Follow all sanitation and safety procedures.
