Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a hotel setting.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and colleagues.
• Display basic knife skills.
• CA Food handlers Card training is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various food items for hotel restaurant and catering functions while following safety guidelines.
• Set up stations 15 minutes before service to ensure readiness.
• Assist with quality and presentation issues and maintain organization of kitchen and restaurant.
• Follow recipes and assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of Food & Beverage items as directed.
• Report equipment problems promptly to leadership or maintenance and help with any required reports.
