Job summary

Hilton Garden Doheny in Dana Point, CA, is seeking a Line Cook to join our Culinary team. You will plan and prepare menu items for the hotel restaurant and catering, ensuring food safety and quality while working on a hot/cold line in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with Executive Chef and Sous Chef, maintain clean stations, manage inventory and assist with ordering as required, with a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Plan and prepare various food items following safety guidelines.
• Ensure stations are ready 15 minutes before service.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain clean work area with 'clean as you go' policy.
• Follow recipes and manage plate presentations.
• Communicate guest needs to Chef and Sous Chef.
• Understand food cost and portion control.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving.
