Job summary

Qualifications

One year progressive heavy equipment maintenance required.
Entry level understanding of all systems onboard the fleet transportation vehicles.
Must have a basic understanding of design, adjustment, overhaul of braking systems.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance inspections on coaches following vehicle checklists.
Diagnose and repair minor coach problems; assist other mechanics as needed.
Review repair manuals and part manuals to aid in small repairs.
Inspect and verify problems on coaches using diagnostic equipment.
Test coaches for proper working order including road tests.
Fill out work orders detailing parts and labor and keep work area clean.
