Barnstable Police Department in Hyannis, MA seeks a Co-Response Program Clinical Supervisor to provide overall clinical and operational oversight of the Co-Response Program embedded with the department.

The role supervises clinicians, participates in hiring and training, coordinates program operations, maintains documentation, and leads regular supervision with staff. A Master’s degree in counseling or psychology and MA independent licensure are required, with crisis-work experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.
  • Current Massachusetts independent practice licensure in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Social Work (LICSW), or Psychology (LP/HSP)
  • Four+ years’ experience in crisis work (preferred)
  • Strongly prefer a candidate with direct experience with the Co-Response model in a law enforcement agency

Responsibilities

  • Provide Administrative and Clinical support for Co-Response Clinician(s) and law enforcement agencies as needed
  • Participate in the screening and hiring process of Co-Response Clinician(s)
  • Responsible for coordinating, training, and orientation of newly hired Co-Response Clinician(s)
  • Maintains oversight of all programmatic clinical documentation
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly Co-Response Program Operations Meetings
  • Provide and document regular supervision with Co-Response Clinician(s)
