Job summary

AbbVie in Worcester, MA invites a 6-month Validation Engineering Co-Op to join the QA Validation team. You will assist in planning and executing validation tasks across manufacturing and QC, aligning with global quality systems and cGMP compliance.

Responsibilities include drafting validation plans, supporting installations and decommissioning, and investigating validation failures with thorough documentation. Ideal for students in Chemical/Mechanical/Biomedical engineering programs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Must be enrolled for at least one semester after the co-op.
• Expected graduation between May 2028 and Dec 2028.
• Strong organization, detail orientation, communication, and time management.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of Validation Master Plan tasks.
• Collaborate with external engineering and QC on installations, modifications, and decommissioning.
• Draft and execute validation plans and protocols per cGMP requirements.
• Ensure investigations of validation failures are thorough and well-documented.
