Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston is offering a Spring 2027 Co-op in People Research and Analytics within Human Resources. The 6-month, paid co-op focuses on workforce analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights to improve employee experience.

You will develop dashboards, conduct trend analyses, and collaborate with HR leaders. Applicants should be enrolled in an advanced degree program and available January–June 2027, with full-time (40 hours/week) and hybrid/on-site flexibility.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field such as HR, IO psychology, data analytics, or business.
• Foundational quantitative and qualitative research skills with data analysis ability.
• Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; some Python/SQL experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support HR analytics projects with data collection, literature reviews, and background research.
• Prepare and validate workforce data for analysis following privacy and governance guidelines.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with HR and business partners to translate questions into data-driven recommendations.
