Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated is offering a 6-month co‑op in Business Process Excellence, HR Transformation. You will contribute to redesigning HR services, implement continuous improvement, and apply AI tools to communications and process updates.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a master's degree in one of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or Business Process Management.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; Vertex does not sponsor internships/co-ops or entry-level roles in this organization.
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from January – June 2027.
• Eligible for a temporary, paid co-op in a US-based program.

Responsibilities

• Support the launch and continuous improvement of redesigned HR services.
• Develop job aids, process guides, FAQs and checklists.
• Use AI tools to draft communications and support the rollout of process updates.
• Partner with HR service owners, HR operations teams, HR technology and HR leaders.
