Job summary

FedEx Co-Op internship offers hands-on experience in internal auditing, with opportunities to apply coursework to real audits and to develop professional reporting skills. Interns work on risk assessments, audit procedures, and documenting findings while interacting with senior management.

Availability is 40 hours per week, January 2027 through June 2027. Sponsorship is not available for interns; relocation stipends may be provided for those relocating over 50 miles for on-site or hybrid roles.

Qualifications

Job description

As a FedEx Co-Op, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

The internal audit internship program aims to provide hands‑on experience in the field of internal auditing, offering interns the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and develop practical skills. Interns will assist in conducting risk assessments, performing audit procedures, documenting findings, and contributing to the development of internal audit reports and recommendations.

Availability to work 40 hours/week/full time, January 2027 – June 2027. Resume should include information: email address, telephone number, name of college/university, degree, major, GPA, date of intended graduation (month & year).

Essential Functions

Minimum Education

Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Degree: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, information systems or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Time management, organizational and multi‑tasking skills necessary to work in a fast‑paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.

Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on‑site or hybrid internship or co‑op experience.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
