Job summary

Journeys in Lithonia, GA is seeking an energetic leader to assist the Store Manager and Training Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching a strong sales team to meet store and personal sales goals.

You will help control expenses, protect company assets, and ensure a fun, full-service experience for customers. The role requires 45 hours per week, weekend shifts, and a path toward Co-Manager through internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• Experience in hiring, training and coaching a sales team.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales goals and standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team; provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented to standard.
• Recognize talent and develop staff for growth.
• Supervise daily store operations in leadership absence.
• Oversee loss prevention practices in leadership absence.
• Communicate store needs to leadership.
• Resolve customer issues and provide a full-service experience.
• Demonstrate Journeys culture to the team.
• Work 45 hours per week; able to work nights and weekends.
