Job summary

Journeys is a teen retail leader with an emphasis on footwear and lifestyle items. This role supports the Store Manager and Manager In Training in recruiting, training, and managing store personnel to meet sales goals and protect company assets.

The position requires the ability to work 45 hours per week, including night and weekend shifts, with opportunities for rapid promotion and a strong team culture that values integrity and passion.

Qualifications

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing policies.
• Ensure program initiatives are implemented per company direction.
• Supervise store operations in Manager In Training’s absence.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and provide a full-service experience.
