Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to drive territory growth in the United States. You will execute territory-specific sales strategies to drive utilization and achieve quarterly and annual objectives.

You will apply resources, engage HCPs & staff, analyze local market trends, and develop call plans aligned with national objectives to expand access and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2–4 years of pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent life sciences sales); specialty sales experience strongly preferred (Neuroscience, psychiatry; ADHD/Pediatric psychiatry).
  • Strong account-based selling skills with demonstrated success.
  • Working knowledge of strategies to pull-through local formulary wins.
  • Understanding of prior authorization process; experience partnering with key HCPs/office personnel on manufacturer-sponsored market access support programs preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales goals/targets on a quarterly and/or annual basis.
  • Apply resources (call activity, speaker programs, payer access tools, etc.) to best business opportunities; track impact and adjust. Engage customers (HCPs & staff) via face-to-face, virtual, or phone.
  • Analyze the market to understand local dynamics and execute against trends impacting the business.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans and call plans aligned with meeting territory and national objectives.
  • Stay current on local and national payer access environment; identify pull-through opportunities in local market.
  • Provide expertise on disease state, treatment approaches, competition, and company product.
  • Partner with internal/external stakeholders to remove barriers to access.
  • Participate in industry meetings, conventions, and exhibits as necessary.
  • Use a selling model to build a call continuum with logical, sequential steps to gain commitment and action.
  • Take ownership by identifying challenges and resolving problems with solutions that consider customer and organization implications.
  • Use measurement methods and business tools to evaluate data and build business/call plans to drive performance.
  • Ensure customer perspective drives decisions; craft/implement service practices meeting customer and organizational needs.
  • Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of products/services/ideas.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and company policies/procedures; keep vision and values at the forefront.

Pay range
  • $115,000 USD - $150,000 USD
