Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for CNS to advance clinical and health economic discussions with key influencers, local practice leaders, and healthcare providers within the ecosystem.

The role emphasizes scientific credibility, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic field engagement to improve patient outcomes. The MSL will cover multiple CNS products, contribute to regional medical plans, and participate in investigator‑initiated studies

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PhD in life sciences or equivalent CNS clinical experience
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery
• Strong business acumen and ability to identify solutions for improved patient outcomes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; cross-functional teamwork
• Ability to lead projects and mentor others
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of time; preferred living location in territory

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and scientific insights to local execution plans and field activities
• Build relationships with key scientific and medical stakeholders to understand evolving healthcare trends and product knowledge
• Maintain deep understanding of the CNS ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy
• Offer evidence-based information on clinical, economic and humanistic value of Otsuka products
• Collaborate across matrix teams and field medical leadership to implement local medical strategies
• Disseminate disease state and healthcare landscape information to customers in the field
• Contribute to training of speakers and disease-state education
• Support clinical trials activities and health economics research as needed
• Mentor peers and participate in onboarding of new hires
• Support Safety & Pharmacovigilance and Field Medical Center of Excellence activities
