Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the CNS area to engage Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, healthcare providers and patient groups within an ecosystem framework.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master's with psychiatry/CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems, patient care delivery, and interactions with HCPs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; cross-functional environment.
• Ability to lead teams and projects strategically.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance landscape.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Preferred living location as a key city in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Contributes clinical/scientific perspective to local execution plans and field activities.
• Builds external relationships with scientific/medical customers and organizations.
• Maintains deep ecosystem understanding to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Delivers evidence-based information across clinical, economic, and humanistic aspects.
• Partners with regional leadership to shape medical strategies and timelines.
• Disseminates disease-state and healthcare landscape information to field customers.
• Responsible for training speakers and education on promotional/disease-state topics.
• May serve in speaker bureau roles for product education in the territory.
• Collects medical insights to drive evidence generation and healthcare solutions.
• Supports clinical trials programs and provides operational feedback.
• Mentors peers and supports safety/pharmacovigilance and training initiatives.
