Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the CNS portfolio. This field-based role requires engaging with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, and healthcare providers to advance patient outcomes through evidence-based dialogue.

The MSL will deliver clinical and economic insights, support trials and training, and collaborate across the ecosystem to implement local medical strategies. Up to 70% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of interconnected health systems and patient care delivery.
• Strong business acumen; knowledge of industry dynamics and value proposition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; capable of cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information related to CNS diseases.
• Build and nurture external relationships with key scientific and medical customers and organizations.
• Develop deep ecosystem understanding to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Serve as a credible source of evidence-based information and engage stakeholders at local level.
• Mentor peers and collaborate with Safety, Training and Field Medical teams.
