Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the CNS space to engage with KIs, LPLs, healthcare providers and patient groups within the local ecosystem.

The MSL will provide clinical, economic and humanistic data supporting product use and patient outcomes. The role requires field-based engagement across multiple products, with potential coverage of multiple CNS therapies, and extensive collaboration with ecosystem partners to customize regional strategies

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PharmD/PhD in life sciences or Master’s with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information on CNS diseases and Otsuka products.
• Engage with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, healthcare providers and patient groups within territory.
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Serve as credible source of evidence for clinical, economic, and humanistic value of products.
• Mentor peers and support training across the matrix team.
