Job summary

Nealy Pierce, LLC is recruiting a Chief Nursing Officer for a growing non-profit health system in the Gulf South region. The CNO will oversee nursing across a flagship acute care hospital with 1,500+ FTEs in a 500+ bed trauma center.

The incoming CNO will lead an experienced nursing leadership team, focus on retention, engagement, quality and patient experience, and drive nursing technology and governance, with Magnet as a long-term goal.

Qualifications

A growing, non-profit health system in the Gulf South Region is seeking an accomplished Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing across its flagship acute care hospital.

This is a significant executive opportunity overseeing approximately 1,500+ FTEs in a 500+ bed trauma center.

The incoming CNO will inherit an experienced nursing leadership team, a strong nurse recruitment and development pipeline, and an organization that has already invested heavily in its nursing infrastructure. Who We\'re Looking For

We are seeking an established Chief Nursing Officer, ideally with 3–5+ years of successful CNO experience in a large, complex acute care hospital.

The ideal candidate will bring measurable results in nursing workforce performance, retention, engagement, quality and operational execution, along with the executive presence to lead an experienced team and partner effectively with senior leadership.

RN and Master's degree required (if not in Nursing, must hold a BSN). Doctorate preferred.
