Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing operations, drive patient-centered care, and advance quality and regulatory compliance across the organization.

The CNO will oversee all nursing functions, steward budget and staffing, and partner with other leaders to shape strategic direction and organizational development. Strong leadership, analytics, and change management are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior nursing leadership role.
  • Experience in clinical operations, nursing administration, patient safety, and quality improvement.
  • Strong track record in regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS).
  • Experience with nursing workforce management, FTE, staffing and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all nursing and clinical operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance and CMS/Joint Commission standards.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement programs.
  • Manage nursing workforce, including staffing, FTE, and succession planning.
  • Oversee department budgeting and financial performance.
  • Foster positive staff relations and professional development.
  • Drive transformational change and new patient-centered care strategies.
  • Utilize nursing analytics to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the nursing team.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic nursing initiatives.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Permanent Chief Nursing Officer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of nursing experience, a collaborative spirit, and a forward-thinking mindset to our organization. The CNO will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. The CNO will be a key member of our leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and organizational development, while managing our nursing workforce effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all nursing and clinical operations, ensuring the provision of exceptional patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory compliance, Joint Commission Standards, and CMS Compliance
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement programs
  • Manage nursing workforce, including FTE management, staffing management, and succession planning
  • Oversee budget management within the nursing department
  • Foster positive employee relations and create an environment conducive to staff growth and satisfaction
  • Act as a change agent, driving transformational change within the nursing department and the organization
  • Enhance patient experience through innovative strategies and patient-centered care
  • Utilize nursing analytics to inform decision making and improve patient outcomes
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and coaching to the nursing team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to develop strategic plans and initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior nursing leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical operations, nursing administration, patient safety, and quality improvement
  • Proven track record in regulatory compliance, Joint Commission Standards, and CMS Compliance
  • Solid experience in nursing workforce management, FTE management, staffing management, and budget management
  • Strong background in performance improvement, policy and procedure development, employee relations, and patient experience
  • Experience in change management, strategic planning, succession planning, rehabilitation nursing, acute care, post-acute care, nursing analytics, patient care, and clinical leadership
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required, a Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management is preferred
  • Current RN license is required
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Commitment to the highest standards of patient care and professional ethics.
