Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Tooling Sales Engineer in Manchester, NH to play a key role in the capital equipment sales process.

You will provide technical information to improve productivity and work with internal teams to ensure customer success throughout pre-sales to project completion. The role requires 3+ years in CNC technology, strong presentation skills, travel across the region, and a drive for results.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred with 3+ years of applicable experience.
• Intermediate to sophisticated knowledge of CNC machine technology and applications with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally across the sales territory.
• Valid US driving license and a clean driving record.
• CMTSE Certification is a plus.
• Project management and Lean manufacturing training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining customer relationships to ensure all needs are met from pre-sales to project completion by actively reviewing processes and reporting through Salesforce.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and the product lines represented by our company.
• Supporting a broad range of tooling and machine accessory projects within a sales territory and establishing yourself as the central knowledge base for the associated machine accessories, work holding, and tool holding products.
• Developing solutions for process optimization and managing related projects from concept to completion.
• Participating in continuous education meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with new products, processes and technologies.
• Cultivating a sales territory to generate revenue when not supporting capital machine projects.
• Being responsive to customers and capital sales account managers in resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining a high degree of integrity and professionalism that safeguards the trust and confidence of customers, and colleagues.
