Job summary

Guhring USA is seeking a CNC Tool Grinder for the 2nd shift to set up and operate universal CNC grinding machines, performing complex, close-tolerance tooling operations in our Brookfield, Wisconsin facility. You will manage multiple machines when possible to maximize throughput.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, selecting grind wheels, dressing wheels, positioning tools, adjusting speeds and feeds, running auto-cycle, inspecting tools, recording production data, and maintaining a

Qualifications

• Experience with basic machine operation or related technical training.
• One year of direct machine setup and operation experience.
• Knowledge of grinding principles and shop drawings.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings.
• Strong math and trigonometry skills; calculate machine settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate universal CNC grinding machines for close-tolerance tooling.
• Perform changeovers for small quantity orders.
• Maximize production by running more than one machine when possible.
• Enter production information into the data collection system.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
