Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3–5 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read written instructions and shop drawings.
• Above average math and trig skills; calculate machine settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate universal CNC grinding machines.
• Perform frequent changeovers for small quantity orders.
• Dress and form abrasive wheels and mount tools.
• Run auto-cycle and inspect tools for correct dimensions.
• Enter production data into the data collection system.
• Monitor equipment and request maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Perform SPC procedures on all jobs.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
