• Record production data and monitor tool wear.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines for steel blanks.
• Perform frequent changeovers for small-quantity orders.
• Maximize production by running multiple machines when possible.
• Receive and review work assignments; verify dimensions, tolerances and counts.
• Follow established procedures for tooling and input values.
• Grind first piece, inspect, and adjust as needed.
• Enter all production information into the data collection system.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
