Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily operations, ensuring resources and direction align with business goals within company policies. You will drive lean initiatives, manage value stream resources, and support policy adherence while fostering cross-training and skill development.

The role emphasizes ability to deploy continuous improvement, lead production activities, and collaborate with the Group Lead to maintain high standards of performance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Two-year degree preferred.
• Experience with Windows Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• MRP/ERP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities within the assigned area to meet commitments and drive improvements.
• Be a change agent and deploy Lean to eliminate waste and initiate continuous improvement.
• Manage resources of the assigned value stream areas.
• Assist Group Lead in communicating team adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure cross-training of employees and update skills matrix.
