Top Prospect Group is seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Set-Up, Programmer, and Operator for our onsite facility in Wallingford, CT. This full-time hourly role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed to meet production demands.

You will set up, program, and operate CNC Swiss machines, read engineering drawings, adjust speeds/feeds, troubleshoot issues, and perform in-process inspections.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years CNC Swiss machining experience preferred.
• Proven experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC Swiss machines.
• CNC Swiss programming experience required.
• Tsugami/Part Maker/Mastercam experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of cutting tools, tooling, speeds, and feeds.
• Ability to troubleshoot machines and make program/setup adjustments.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Aufgaben

• Set up, program, and operate CNC Swiss machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Make program adjustments and setup changes to maintain production and quality.
• Select and use cutting tools, tooling, guide bushings, and other setup components.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, offsets, and tooling as necessary.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and production issues.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision instruments.
• Complete required production and quality paperwork accurately.
• Follow job instructions and established procedures.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep areas clean.
