Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing is seeking a Machine Setup Operator (Swiss) to perform accurate CNC setups, run production to quality and productivity standards, adjust tooling and programs, and guide other operators in setup procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a proven CNC setup track record, strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills, and the ability to perform daily 5S and routine maintenance. This full-time role is on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in CNC machine operation and setup.
• Ability to adjust tools and workpiece positions accurately.
• Proficient with precision gauges and measuring tools.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Shop math including fractions and decimals.
• Technical school certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain acceptable setup standards for time and quality.
• Transfer and download programs to CNC Swiss machine.
• Set up machines and proper cutting tools.
• Instructs operators in setup and operation.
• Perform daily 5S and maintenance.
• Communicate work status to management.
• Follow policies and work safely.
• Complete any specifically assigned tasks.
