Job summary

Elite is seeking a CNC Set-up/Operator - SWISS for our Florence, AL facility. This role focuses on setting up and operating SWISS CNC machines to produce production and prototype devices with high precision during the night shift (3pm–1:30am, Mon-Thu, overtime optional Fri).

The candidate will read blueprints, set controls, load materials, run tests, monitor quality, and maintain equipment. Requires 3+ years machining experience and an associate degree or technical training.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree or technical training.
• Hands-on experience with Swiss CNC setups is preferred.
• Ability to read complex drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SWISS CNC machines to perform drilling and milling.
• Read blueprints and specs to determine required outcomes.
• Calculate and set controls for machining factors.
• Load raw materials and fixtures onto machines.
• Perform test runs and adjust for quality.
• Inspect finished parts and compare to tolerances.
• Maintain machinery and coolant levels daily.
