Job summary

Precision Threaded Products is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Operator to join the manufacturing team in Connecticut. You will set up, run, and optimize multi-axis CNC Swiss machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include tool changes, deburring, inspection, data recording, and maintaining a safe work area. Prior Swiss programming is a plus; familiarity with Inconel/A-286 is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience setting up, operating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC Swiss machines.
• Familiarity with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls.
• Experience with tooling and standard inspection equipment.
• CNC Swiss programming is a plus.
• Experience with aerospace-grade or close-tolerance parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Swiss machines, including Citizen.
• Read blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Load material, change tools, deburr, and inspect parts.
• Optimize feeds and speeds and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and quality to resolve production issues.
• Complete inspection documentation and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
