Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and customer specifications to set up, operate and adjust CNC Star Swiss lathes.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspections of self-machined parts.
• Inspect produced parts with gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Change offsets and tools, perform G-code edits, and perform preventative maintenance of machines.
• Set up machines to achieve full capabilities.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Swiss Lathe Machinists and is a DP positionwith our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need 3 + years of experience ; Aerospace experience preferred.

Job Description :

• Reads and Studies Blueprints and Customer Specifications to best perform Setup, Operations and Adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathes. G-Code edit experience is a plus.
• Performs Inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process)
• Candidates will perform Inspection of their produced parts using Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Responsible for Changing Offsets and Tools, Performing G-Code Edits and Preventative Maintenance of Machines
• Candidate is required to Setup Machines to achieve their full capabilities.
