Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist for first shift on a temp-to-hire basis. The role requires precision, independence, and the ability to work in a team. You'll read blueprints and customer specifications, set up and run CNC Star Swiss Lathes, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and make G-code edits as needed.

Aerospace experience is preferred. Candidates should be versed in using gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify part quality and

Qualifications

• 2+ years setup experience on Swiss Lathe CNC machines.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to set up, operate and adjust CNC Star Swiss Lathes.
• Perform inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
• Inspect produced parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Swiss Lathe Machinists and is a DP positionwith our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need 3+ years of experience ; Aerospace experience preferred.

Job Description:

• Reads and Studies Blueprints and Customer Specifications to best perform Setup, Operations and Adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathes. G-Code edit experience is a plus.
• Performs Inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process)
• Candidates will perform Inspection of their produced parts using Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Responsible for Changing Offsets and Tools, Performing G-Code Edits and Preventative Maintenance of Machines
• Candidate is required to Setup Machines to achieve their full capabilities.

Requirements

• 2 Years: Setup Experience | 2 Years: Swiss Lathe Machines
• Tool Making Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work Independently and in a Team Environment
