Job summary

HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH seeks a CNC Setup Operator I for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) to set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers, producing metal and polymer parts to exact blueprints.

You will read and verify programs, adjust tooling and setups, and ensure accuracy, quality, and documentation. Strong English reading, basic math, and computer skills are required for safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers to machine metal and polymer workpieces.
• Read programs, identify errors, and adjust setups to meet blueprint specs.
• Ability to understand English instructions, convert metric and English units, and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret CNC programs and blueprints with accuracy.
• Set up machines, select proper tooling, and secure workpieces.
• Load tools, adjust tools/programs, and verify operations for consistency.
• Monitor cutting operations and verify pieces against measurements.
• Document quality and production data; notify leads of any non-conformities.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures.
