The successful candidate will program using SolidWorks/FeatureCAM, operate a Haas VF-8/40 milling machine, and perform first article inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. Experience with CAD/CAM software is essential; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC training a plus.
• 1+ years related CNC machining experience or equivalent training.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software; familiarity with HAAS equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Program CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks and FeatureCAM to create machining instructions.
• Set up CNC machines with tools and materials for production runs.
• Operate Haas VF-8/40 milling machine to meet specs and tolerances.
• Perform quality checks and first article inspections to verify conformance.
• Maintain machines, document maintenance and production records; manage scrap.
