Job summary

Victory Tool, a U.S.-based tool and die manufacturer in Minnesota, seeks an experienced CNC Operator/Setup Machinist for the 2nd shift. The role is setup-heavy, handling complex one-off tooling rather than repetitive production.

You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust CNC machines independently, often running 2–3 machines simultaneously. Training is available for the right candidate, with strong opportunities to advance in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience, preferably in tool and die, mold, or other custom machining.
• Strong setup and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple machines.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers.
• Load tools, set work offsets, and make tool/wear adjustments.
• Prove out and troubleshoot programs.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment.
• Work with a variety of materials and complex tool and die components.
• Run multiple machines efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Communicate with the programming, engineering, and toolroom teams.
• Help identify and resolve machining problems.
