Job summary

Timesavers LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our Maple Grove manufacturing team. This hands-on setup role focuses on low-volume, custom parts with frequent setups and changeovers, from print to finished part.

You will independently set up and run CNC milling, read blueprints with GD&T, select tooling, and perform first-piece inspections while collaborating with Engineering to resolve issues. Strong solo work ethic required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including CNC milling.
• Ability to perform complete CNC mill setups from start to finish independently.
• Experience with low-volume, custom, prototype parts.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Machine low-volume, custom parts with frequent setups and changeovers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Select tooling and workholding; establish offsets.
• Determine machining sequences, feeds and speeds; edit CNC programs at the machine.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Troubleshoot setup, tooling, programming, and surface finish issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve manufacturability issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
