Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a CNC Set-Up I for a weekend shift (Fri/Sat/Sun 6a-6p) in Oak Ridge, TN. You will load preset CNC programs, adjust as needed, and operate machinery to produce quality parts following work instructions.

The role requires three years of relevant experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to read verbal/written instructions. Safety PPE is required, and the position will involve material handling and basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to learn and use CAD/CAM, and G & M codes.

Responsibilities

• Load preset CNC programs and make minor adjustments to direct machine operation.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable product per work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and record results.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and preventative maintenance such as changing coolants and filters.
• Stack and transport product safely and clean work area; wear PPE as required.
