Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Production Operator III for weekend days (Fri/Sat/Sun) 6am–6pm. You will operate multiple production machines, adjust settings per work orders, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, transfer parts between processes via computer systems, load and move products with forklifts when required, keep areas clean, train new operators, and wear required PPE.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read verbal/ written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple production equipment per work orders and adjust machines.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specs and take corrective actions.
• Transfer parts between processes via computer systems.
• Load, unload and stack product; transport with forklifts or hoists.
• Maintain clean work area and train incoming operators.
• Wear required PPE in mandatory areas.
