Job summary

Protolabs is seeking a CNC Quality Inspector for the Weekday Nights (WDN) shift to ensure parts and orders meet customer requirements before shipping. You will perform X, Y, Z measurements and visual inspections, verify counts, and document results in the QC system.

The role emphasizes precision, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork with shift supervisors and quality staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Able to follow printed and computer instructions from supervisors or leads.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to use measuring instruments such as calipers and scales.
• Able to work safely with sharp tools and objects.
• Able to read/write in English and do basic arithmetic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X, Y, Z measurements.
• Perform visual cosmetic inspection.
• Verify part counts and packaging accuracy.
• Inspect orders for fulfillment accuracy.
• Enter process information into the computer.
