Job summary

Master Machine, located in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for weekend night shifts to join our precision manufacturing team. You will perform dimensional inspections across production stages and verify GD&T conformance using Zeiss, Keyence, and Faro CMMs, while ensuring QA program compliance and clear communication with customers and production.

The role requires at least 2 years in quality control with CMM experience, a strong GD&T background, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Minimum 2 years of quality control inspection using Faro Arm CMM and/or Keyence Optical CMM.
Knowledge of NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, ANSI N45.2, and ASME BPVC III/VIII quality requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate quality and technical requirements.
Flexible hours to meet emergent customer needs.

Responsibilities

Perform precise dimensional inspections at all stages of production to verify drawings and GD&T.
Program and operate Zeiss CMM, Keyence Optical CMM, and/or Faro arm for complex verification.
Verify incoming materials and in-process work at control points to ensure quality.
Witness and hold points as identified in work travelers and ensure compliance with procedures.
Interface with customers and production teams to communicate inspection results and quality requirements.
